Residential Properties - Langdon College

Langdon College has five residential properties. Students are placed within our various properties dependant upon need and after addressing compatibility issues. The focus of all our residential services is to offer an ongoing service providing structure and support in the development of independence as well as offering an extended curriculum and range of leisure opportunities.

Tewkesbury Drive

The property is two large semi - detached houses with a shared area between and gardens/paved areas to the front and rear. It is a large Tudor style building. The home is situated in the heart of the Jewish community in a quiet area of Prestwich. This property is registered with the Commission for Social Care Inspection and is inspected on an annual basis.

The home can accommodate up to 8 students.

The home is decorated to a high standard and reflects the young client group that live here.

The following rooms are in the home:-

  • One large Shabbat/Dining Room
  • 2 Lounges both with areas for computer work stations
  • 1 office
  • 2 kitchens

The students benefit from a range of local resources and leisure opportunities within walking distance, including the main bus and tram route to Manchester, Altrincham and Bury. There is easy access to the Trafford Centre and various other amenities.

Melton Road Flat

A pleasant two bedroom ground floor flat which is situated in a block of newly built flats in a very quiet area not overlooked either at the front or rear of the building.

The flat is very close to the main Melton Road House and allows students to visit one another and be fully involved in a range of activities.
